January 12, 2008--Minnesota's Walleye season may start one week earlier under a plan proposed by Sen. Satveer Chaudhary, DFL-Fridley.  Govennor Tim Pawlenty has said he'd likely sign such a bill. 

January 4, 2008--Ice fishing is in full swing now.  The walleye bite is hot on Lake Vermilion.  Lots of recent snow has helped snowmobiles and skiers enjoy their activities.
