"Lost Weekend" is located on Lake Vermilion in Minnesota. In 1940, the National Geographical Society declared Lake Vermilion on the most scenic lakes in the United States, and it remains that way today. With 365 islands, over 40,000 acres in size, and 37 miles in length, the lake has endless amount of scenic beauty and recreational activities. Lake Vermilion is near the towns of Cook and Tower and not far from Ely, Minnesota.The cabin is located in Wakemup Narrows, about seven miles from Cook, Minnesota. The cabin is near Polly's Resort and Ludlow's Resort.
